Edmund Rice Education Beyond Borders would like to invite up to 10 students from your school, to be accompanied by a teacher, to our second regional Edmund Rice Education Beyond Borders Advocacy gathering. This “Walk in my shoes” to be held in Croke Park Wednesday 28th February from 10am to 2:30 pm, we will be gathering from 9:30am . This follows on from a very successful event in Cork last year.
Edmund Rice Education Beyond Borders (EREBB) is our International network of Edmund Rice schools, educating young people from many different faiths and cultures. In over 20 countries we endeavour to promote global solidarity and offer a transformational education for justice and liberation.
This gathering aims to give expression to the student voice. On the day the Students will get to hear from students in our schools worldwide who have experienced various social issues, to reflect on these and develop their own ideas for citizenship projects, advocacy and other EREBB programmes. We would like as many schools as possible to participate so that the students can experience the vibrant network that they are part of and continue to be inspired by the vision of Edmund Rice in making a difference to their world.
the day will include interactive workshops of both primary and post-primary students facilitated by Edmund Rice educators and some of our Student Ambassadors.
There is a charge of €15 per head which covers lunch on the day, however if you would like to come but the school cannot afford to fund this, please contact Louise in our office who will assist through the co-responsibility fund.
Please respond email@example.com indicating how many of your students and teachers will attend and we will forward more details.
