Calling All Budding Artists! The ERST Create a School Flag Art Competition
The Edmund Rice Schools Trust, in association with Allianz Insurance, invites the Edmund Rice Schools Network of students to create a flag, which will capture the spirit of the Edmund Rice School.
Your school is an Edmund Rice School. This is part of what makes it the great school that you are happy to walk into every day.
We wish the world to know that our schools are Edmund Rice Schools! So, we thought it would be a wonderful idea for our schools to have a very special flag, an Edmund Rice School Flag, to fly high above our schools to proudly show, to one and all, who we are.
The Edmund Rice Schools Trust firmly believes that you, the students in our schools, are the people who know most about what you would like to see flying above our schools. That is why we are inviting you to enter our art competition to design an Edmund Rice Schools flag.
The best idea, and winning flag, will be created to fly above our schools all around Ireland.
The only stipulation is that all designs must contain the words “An Edmund Rice School “ and the Edmund Rice schools Trust logo in full colour https://www.erst.ie/uploads/ERST_COLOUR.jpg Where and how is up to you.
Allianz, our schools insurers, has kindly donated some wonderful prizes for this art competition. Below is the list of prizes.
The overall winning flag designer will win an iPad, and a laptop for their school. The winning flag design will be created and each school in the Network will be issued with a flag which will be raised as part of the celebrations on Blessed Edmund Rice’s Feast Day, May 5th, 2017.
