Minister for Education & Skills Launches Edmund Rice Community Awards in Coláiste Mhichíl, Limerick

The Minister for Education and Skills, Ms. Jan O'Sullivan T.D., and the Edmund Rice Schools Trust launched the Edmund Rice Community Awards Project on Monday, 20th April, 2015.  The launch was hosted by Coláiste Mhicíl, Sexton Street, Limerick.  The Edmund Rice Community Project is a new awards programme which students in ERST schools have been working on during this school year. There were addresses by the Principal, Tom Prendergast, Gerry Bennett, Chief Executive of ERST and the Minister.  There were many examples of the outreach work undertaken by the students of Coláiste Mhicíl.  The launch was a great success, our sincere thanks to the whole school community of Coláiste Mhicíl who made us so welcome and provided us with a most memorable day.
